About Durham Ox

Durham Ox is a rural locality in the Shire of Loddon, Victoria, situated on Serpentine Creek, a tributary of the Loddon River. The area is characterised by broadacre cropping and livestock grazing on the flat alluvial plains of the Loddon valley. Its name dates to 1848 and derives from a famous bull bred by early pastoralists in the district.
