About Clarkes Hill
Clarkes Hill is a rural locality in the Shire of Moorabool in central Victoria, 112 kilometres west of Melbourne and 18 kilometres north-east of Ballarat, near Creswick. It is farming country of rolling hills and rich soil, known for its potato-growing farms, and the locality is the site of the St Peter's Roman Catholic church.
