About Petcheys Bay
Petcheys Bay is a rural locality in the local government area (LGA) of Huon Valley in the South-east LGA region of Tasmania, about 26 kilometres (16 mi) south of Huonville. The locality is believed to be named for William Petchey, an early settler, and its southern boundary is formed by the waters of the Huon River estuary.
