About Bridport
Bridport is a small town on Anderson Bay on the north-east coast of Tasmania, in the Dorset Council area, about 63 kilometres north-east of Launceston. It takes its name from Bridport in Dorset, England, and is a popular holiday destination whose population swells in summer. The town is a fishing base and is home to the Barnbougle Dunes golf links, opened in 2004 and ranked among the world's best courses, together with the Lost Farm course opened in 2010.
