About Blue Rocks

Blue Rocks is a coastal locality on the mid-western coast of Flinders Island, Tasmania, in the Furneaux Group of Bass Strait. It takes its name from prominent blue-tinted granodiorite rock formations. The Blue Rocks Walk is a 5 km coastal trail highlighting these geological features. A post office operated here from around 1936 until 1969.
