About Kingston Beach
Kingston Beach is a residential suburb of greater Hobart, Tasmania, on the River Derwent at the mouth of Browns Rivulet. Originally known as Browns River Beach in the 1850s, it is a popular swimming beach patrolled by the Kingston Beach Surf Life Saving Club between December and April. The suburb also has a dog beach, sailing club and a range of shops.
