About Murtho
Murtho is a Riverland locality in South Australia, about 15 kilometres north-east of Renmark on the banks of the Murray River. Bounded by the river to the north and west and the Victorian border to the east, the area supports vineyards, orchards and cereal crops, and was the site of an 1890s socialist village settlement and the pre-Federation Border Cliffs customs house.
