About Lucindale
Lucindale is a small town in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia, situated approximately 41 kilometres west of Naracoorte in the state's south-east. The town is known for hosting the annual South East Field Days, one of Australia's largest outdoor agricultural events attracting over 26,000 visitors each March. Lucindale was proclaimed in 1877 and named after Lady Jeannie Lucinda Musgrave, wife of the Governor of South Australia, and sits within a landscape of grazing land, cropping and remnant bushland on the limestone plains of the south-east.
