About Boolgun
Boolgun is a rural locality in the Murray Mallee of South Australia, on the former Waikerie railway line between Karoonda and Waikerie. It grew up around Boolgun siding after the line opened in 1914, which opened the light loamy country for wheat farming, and the locality remains a sparsely settled grain and sheep farming area. The railway line closed in 1990.
