About Blackfellows Caves

Blackfellows Caves is a small coastal locality on South Australia's Limestone Coast, approximately 37 kilometres south-west of Mount Gambier. The settlement takes its name from the sea caves and limestone bluffs that line the shore, which hold cultural significance to the Boandik people. Two sheltered beaches flank the rocky outcrop, making it a quiet spot for fishing and coastal walks near the neighbouring community of Carpenter Rocks.
