About Solomon
Solomon is a remote pastoral locality on the upper Eyre Peninsula of South Australia, about 40 kilometres north of Kimba in the Kimba District Council area. The landscape is open farmland and native scrubland, supporting cereal cropping and sheep grazing on the red and sandy soils of this semi-arid region. Kimba, known for its giant white galah landmark marking the halfway point across Australia, is the nearest service town.
