About Murputja - Nyapari
Murputja - Nyapari is a community in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands of north-west South Australia, about 20 km south of the Northern Territory border at the base of the Mann Ranges. Nyapari began as a family outstation in the mid-1970s and is now a fully established Pitjantjatjara community of extended families, an administration centre for nearby outstations and home to the Tjungu Palya art centre.
