About Macumba
Macumba is a locality in the Outback region of South Australia, containing Macumba Station, a cattle station about 39 kilometres north-east of Oodnadatta. Established before 1883, the station was part of Sidney Kidman's pastoral empire from 1905 until 2016, and is the third-largest station in South Australia. The dry, red-gum-lined channels of the Macumba River system cross the property.
