About Kapinnie

Kapinnie is a locality on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, 25 kilometres west of Cummins. It was served by the Mount Hope railway line, opened in 1914 to carry the district's grain; the line was cut back to make Kapinnie its terminus in 1965, and the remainder closed in 2002.
