About Kalamurina
Kalamurina is a locality in the arid north-east of South Australia, now covered by Kalamurina Sanctuary, a nature reserve. The land was first taken up as Kalamurina Station before 1884, running sheep for wool, and was abandoned during the droughts of the early 1900s before later running cattle.
