About Barndioota
Barndioota is a small rural locality in the Flinders Ranges Council area of South Australia, situated on the eastern edge of the Flinders Ranges approximately 450 kilometres north of Adelaide. The area is characterised by pastoral leases, sheep and cattle grazing and remnant native vegetation on the flat to gently undulating red-brown soils of the outback. Barndioota lies within the broader Flinders Ranges landscape of rugged mountain ranges, seasonal waterways and the arid interior of South Australia.
