About Worlds End (SA)
Worlds End is a locality 18 kilometres south-east of Burra in South Australia, originally the territory of the Ngadjuri people. The town of Lapford was surveyed on Burra Creek in 1877 but never developed. The Wesleyan Methodist church built in 1889 served the community until 1975, and the locality now includes Mimbara Conservation Park.
