About Wasleys

Wasleys is a small town north-west of Gawler, South Australia, within the Light Regional Council. Named after Joseph Wasley and laid out in 1873 beside the railway line, it was historically associated with agricultural innovations. It was the site of the 1970 bus-train collision and the 2015 Pinery bushfire.
