Stockyard Creek is a small rural locality in the District Council of Yankalilla in the Mount Lofty Ranges of South Australia, situated approximately 80 kilometres south of Adelaide in the southern Mount Lofty Ranges. The area is characterised by dairy farming, cattle grazing and remnant native vegetation on the rolling hills and valleys of the ranges.
