About Everard Central
Everard Central is a rural locality on the northern Adelaide Plains in the Mid North of South Australia, about 108 km north of Adelaide. It lies within the Hundred of Everard, named in 1867 after the parliamentarian William Everard. No township was ever surveyed in the hundred, and the locality remains grazing country, with the former Everard East school and institute building used as a local hall.
