About Bungaree (SA)
Bungaree is a rural locality in the Mid North of South Australia, north of Clare in the Clare Valley wine region. It is the site of Bungaree Station, a historic 1840s sheep station established by the Hawker family, with a homestead and woolscour built from local sandstone. The surrounding landscape comprises rolling hills used for merino sheep grazing and cereal cropping.
