Belalie North is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Northern Areas Council region of South Australia, approximately 200 kilometres north of Adelaide. The landscape is broadacre farming country dominated by cereal cropping and grazing, typical of the mid-north agricultural belt, with the nearest service town being Jamestown roughly 15 kilometres to the south-west. The Flinders Ranges are visible to the north and east.
