About New Port
New Port is a north-western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located within the City of Port Adelaide Enfield along the Port River estuary. Established in 2007 from parts of Birkenhead, Ethelton, Glanville and Semaphore Park, the suburb was created as part of the Newport Quays waterfront redevelopment. It features modern residential precincts alongside the industrial and maritime heritage of the Port Adelaide area.
