About Somerton Park
Somerton Park is a seaside suburb of Adelaide in the City of Holdfast Bay, South Australia, located approximately 11 kilometres southwest of the Adelaide central business district. The mainly residential suburb is home to Somerton Park Beach, Sacred Heart College and North Brighton Cemetery, and is historically notable as the location where the unidentified Somerton Man was found dead on the beach in 1948, a mystery only resolved in 2022 through DNA analysis.
