About Sheidow Park
Sheidow Park is a residential suburb in the south of Adelaide, South Australia, about 22 km from the city centre, on the coastal hills above the Adelaide Plains. It is named after the Sheidow family, prominent pastoralists who once owned most of the land, and residential development did not begin in earnest until the late 1970s. The suburb is largely family-oriented, with numerous parks and green open space.
