About Seaford Meadows
Seaford Meadows is a southern metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located about 30 kilometres from the city centre within the City of Onkaparinga. Established in 1995 on formerly semi-rural land, it is bounded by the Onkaparinga River to the east and adjoins Seaford, Noarlunga Downs, and Port Noarlunga South. The name reflects the low-lying meadow terrain near the older suburb of Seaford. A railway station and train depot opened in 2014 as part of the electrified Seaford line extension, along with a Woolworths shopping centre.
