About Macdonald Park

Macdonald Park is a semi-rural northern suburb of Adelaide in the City of Playford, South Australia, established in 1964 by the developer MacDonald Reid Pty Ltd on part of the former Smithfield Magazine, a munitions storage site built during the Second World War. It is bounded by the Max Fatchen Expressway, Curtis Road and Heaslip Road, and was developed as residential farmlets.
