About Holden Hill

Holden Hill is a suburb located approximately 10 kilometres from the Adelaide central business district in the inner north-eastern suburbs of South Australia's capital. Established in 1954, it falls within both the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and the City of Tea Tree Gully local government areas. The suburb is named after "Holden's Hill", a road extension designated in 1855 that ran through land owned by Mr R. Halden. Notable features include Kildare College, a private girls' school, and the suburb's proximity to the Torrens Linear Park cycle path and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza shopping centre.
