About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is an outer northern suburb of Adelaide in the City of Playford, 24 km north of the city centre. It was established on 16 November 1955 as a planned satellite town, named after Queen Elizabeth II, and grew around the post-war industrialisation of Adelaide. Today it acts as the central business district for the surrounding suburbs.
