About Norwood (SA)
Norwood is an inner eastern suburb of Adelaide, about 4 km east of the city centre, in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters. Its main thoroughfare, The Parade, is one of South Australia's premier shopping and dining strips, lined with cafes, restaurants and boutiques and home to the heritage-listed Norwood Town Hall and Norwood Oval, the home of the Norwood Football Club. One of Adelaide's oldest suburbs, it grew from a village laid out in 1847.
