About Mylor

Mylor is a small town in the Adelaide Hills, located approximately 27 kilometres south-east of Adelaide. Proclaimed in 1891 by Acting Governor Sir James Boucaut, who named it after his Cornish birthplace, the town is home to the Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, a predator-free ecological reserve for native fauna. Early Methodist settlers established the town without a hotel, a tradition that continues today.
