About Campbelltown (SA)
Campbelltown is a north-eastern suburb of Adelaide in South Australia, about nine kilometres from the city centre, within the City of Campbelltown. It is named after pioneer settler Charles James Fox Campbell, whose home Lochend stood beside the River Torrens. The river borders the suburb and is lined with parkland. Campbelltown has an aquatic and recreation centre and many parks and playgrounds.
