About Burrar Islet
Burrar Islet, also known as Bet Islet, is a small island and locality in the Torres Strait Island Region of far north Queensland, part of the Bet group of the Torres Strait. It has no permanent development or services, and local children attend school by distance education or by boarding away from the island. The locality was established on 2 July 2010, together with other island localities across the region.
