About Cannonvale
Cannonvale is a coastal locality in the Whitsunday Region on the mainland coast opposite the Whitsunday Islands, adjacent to the larger town of Proserpine and near Airlie Beach. Serving as the primary commercial and residential hub for the Whitsunday area, it is known as a gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef with Cannonvale Beach and the nearby Coral Sea coast being key geographic features. The area includes the Airlie Lagoon and is surrounded by tropical coastal terrain with access to offshore islands via nearby marinas.
