About Scrub Creek
Scrub Creek is a rural locality in the Ipswich region of Queensland, located about 8 kilometres northeast of Toogoolawah and 125 kilometres northwest of Brisbane in the Somerset Region. The Brisbane River flows through the south-western corner, with Dayspring Creek entering from the east, becoming Scrub Creek, and flowing into the Brisbane River. Scrub Creek State School operated from about 1933 to 1955, and the locality appeals for secluded rural escapes within driving distance of South East Queensland's urban centres.
