About Wyaga
Wyaga is a rural locality in the Goondiwindi Region, located about 69 kilometres north-east of Goondiwindi on the Southern Downs. The area was established as a pastoral run in 1849 and is home to the heritage-listed Wyaga Homestead, built around 1862. The Gore Highway passes through the locality, which is used primarily for cattle grazing and cropping.
