About Womina
Womina is a rural locality immediately north of Warwick in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, with the Cunningham Highway running through its eastern boundary. The name derives from an Aboriginal word meaning one, and the Maryvale railway line once passed through the locality before closing in 1964. Womina sits on Darling Downs grazing country on the northern fringe of Warwick.
