About Millmerran

Millmerran is a country town on the Gore Highway on the western fringe of the Darling Downs in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, about 82 kilometres south-west of Toowoomba. It is the service centre for a rich agricultural district within the Condamine and Macintyre catchments, where grain, cotton and beef cattle are produced. The town is known for its larger-than-life murals depicting district history and hosts the biennial Australian Camp Oven Festival, while nearby Mount Basalt is a reserve of rare volcanic formations.
