About Clifford
Clifford is a sparsely populated rural locality in Queensland's Western Downs, with its southern boundary loosely following the Great Dividing Range. The landscape is open and undulating, with the Emu State Forest in the south and grazing on native vegetation the dominant land use. Clifford Station, a pastoral property, was operating in the area by 1903.
