About Sturt Plateau

The Sturt Plateau is an interim Australian bioregion in the Northern Territory, comprising flat wooded plains between the central desert country and the Barkly Tableland. It is covered by open woodlands of eucalypts and bloodwoods and is used mainly for extensive cattle grazing. Towns within the bioregion include Larrimah and Daly Waters.
