About Simpson (NT)
Simpson is a locality in the Northern Territory of Australia located about 1,427 kilometres (887 mi) south-east of the territory capital of Darwin and about 360 kilometres (220 mi) south-east of the municipal seat in Alice Springs in the territory's south-east corner adjoining the states of Queensland and South Australia. The locality consists of the following land (from north to south and then from west to east): As of 2020, it has an area of 50,089 square kilometres (19,339 sq mi).
