About Creswell
Creswell is a locality in the east of the Northern Territory, adjoining the border with Queensland about 933 km south-east of Darwin, in the Barkly Region. The locality takes its name from Cresswell Downs, a pastoral station established in the 1880s, which was in turn named after Cresswell Creek, named by the explorer Ernest Favenc.
