About Murrumujuk

Murrumujuk is a coastal locality in the Litchfield Council area of the Northern Territory, on the shore of Shoal Bay south of Gunn Point. Its name is of Aboriginal origin and relates to the Whale Dreaming, and the area was once part of the agricultural lease taken up by Alf Hart in 1923. The locality was officially named in 1990, and part of it has been provisionally set aside for future residential subdivision.
