About Blackmore
Blackmore is a rural locality on the outer south-western fringes of Darwin in the Northern Territory, within the Litchfield Municipality. The locality sits beside the Blackmore River, which flows into Darwin Harbour and was named in 1869 after Edwin Blackmore, clerk of the South Australian Legislative Council.
