About Sefton
Sefton is a suburb in Western Sydney, Australia, located 23 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district. Named Sefton Park after the place in Liverpool, England, on James Wood's 1839 land grant, the area was market gardens and orchards until residential subdivision began in the 1920s. The heritage-listed Sefton railway station on the Main Southern line opened in 1924.
