About Oatlands (NSW)

Oatlands is a residential suburb of Sydney in the City of Parramatta, New South Wales, located approximately 23 kilometres northwest of the Sydney central business district. Originally known as Dundas West, the suburb was renamed in the early 1990s after Oatlands House, a heritage-listed residence constructed in the 1830s by Lieutenant Percy Simpson. The suburb is home to the Oatlands Golf Course which opened in 1931.
