About Rosemeadow
Rosemeadow is a residential suburb about 45 km southwest of Sydney's CBD in the City of Campbelltown and the Macarthur region, established in 1976 on former farmland. Named after early settler Thomas Rose, who bought the Mount Gilead farm in 1818, the suburb is known for its Shakespeare-themed street names and nearby Noorumba Reserve, one of the largest publicly owned remnants of critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland in south-western Sydney.
