About Forestville (NSW)

Forestville is a leafy residential suburb about 12 km northeast of Sydney's CBD in the Northern Beaches Council area, part of the Forest District. Situated at the junction of the North Shore and Northern Beaches, it is bounded by the bushland of Garigal National Park to the east and west and Middle Harbour to the south. Originally used for timber cutting from 1856, the suburb is known for its family-oriented character, larger blocks, good schools and strong connection to nature.
