About Zetland
Zetland is an inner southern suburb of Sydney, 4 km south of the central business district, in the City of Sydney. It was once a lagoon and wetland that was drained to create the Victoria Park racecourse, and the site later held a vehicle assembly plant and a naval stores depot before being redeveloped from the 1990s as high-density housing. Today Zetland forms part of the Green Square urban renewal area.
