About Quakers Hill

Quakers Hill is a large family-oriented suburb in Sydney's outer west, 40 kilometres from the CBD in the City of Blacktown. The name dates to 1790 when settlers from Quakers Row in Parramatta moved westward to the hills. Developed rapidly from the 1980s as part of Sydney's westward expansion, the suburb is served by the T1 Richmond line and has a large multicultural community with significant Indian and Filipino populations.
